Detailed Spot Information
Hampton Beach is a nice wave riding spot. We are not allowed to kite here when the lifeguards are on duty (from memorial to labor day). The spot offers excellent conditions in all east winds. We usually park in front of the beach house on the right side when looking onto the ocean. There are showers to wash off your equipment after a session. The beach is a nice and sandy beach with plenty of room to launch and land kites. Except for tourists and other beach goers, there are no hazards. Hampton Beach is a safe spot for intermediate kiters who can go upwind. Usually, the ocean tends to be very choppy but sideshore winds can produce some nice, clean waves. Tides do not impact the spot. Nevertheless, it's important to keep in mind that the water gets deep very quickly.
