Detailed Spot Information
This is our go-to spot for the summer months during east winds and when there is a nice seabreeze. Parked can be behind the gas station or along the road at the icecream and lobster restaurants. You need to walk across the street with your equipment. Launched can be anywhere along the beach but usually in the summer it tends to get crowded. Therefore, we usually launch right at the entrance to the beach and walk down to the water with our kites in the air. In the summer months, there is often a nice seabreeze developing in the afternoon. If the meter shows winds in the 20s, it is enough to give it a try. The spot can be ridden at any tide. During lighter winds there is a slight chop. In stronger east winds, larger waves are rolling in. Like every kiteboarding spot in New Hampshire, this spot is also only for people who are able to go upwind since the water gets deep very quickly.
