Detailed Spot Information
Jenness Beach it the spot for the people living further up the coast. Usually, people do not kiteboard there but it is allowed all year around. However, do not go kiteboarding when the beach is crowded. Like Hampton Beach and Seabrook Beach, Jenness Beach works in all easterly winds. It is choppy in light winds and there are higher waves in stronger winds. Parked can be right in front of the beach in a small parking lot that fills up very quickly on warm days. Hazards only include swimmers and sun bathers. In the winter months it is usually not very crowded and Jenness Beach is great for those who want to switch wave spots. As every oceanside spot, the water gets deep very quickly. Therefore, it is important to be comfortable riding upwind.
